Managing Partner, Ken oversees operations and fund raising for NorthStar. Ken was recently the CFO of AgileCap, a specialty commercial lender. Before AgileCap, Ken was CFO of Ragnar and was a founding partner of Dolphin Capital Group, a Utah-based private equity. Before Dolphin Capital Group, Ken was a Director in investment banking at Deutsche Bank in Baltimore, London, and Tokyo. Ken started his career as a CPA with Coopers & Lybrand. Ken holds an M.B.A. from the Columbia Business School.
Ken Jacquin
Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Jim oversees systematic trading strategies at DJ Labs, LLC, and the execution of the Firms’ first private offering, The NorthStar Capital Fund LP. Jim started trading for Utah Peaks Capital in 2022 and co-founded DJ Labs with partner Doug. Jim is a former US Alpine Ski Team coach and holds a BS degree from the U of Minnesota.
Jim Tschabrun
Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Doug oversees systematic trading strategies and firm development. Before launching DJ Labs with partner Jim, Doug worked at Utah Peaks Capital, specializing in executing quantitative trading and risk management. Prior to UPC, Doug built an elite athlete training business in Park City. Doug holds a BA from the U of Minnesota.
